Record Supply: receiving goods from a supplier

Add several products at once, with the cost, the supplier and how much you paid.

Use Record Supply when goods arrive from a supplier. It works like an invoice: one line per product.

Steps

  1. Open Goods & Inventory > Record Supply.
  2. Choose the supplier and add an invoice or reference if you have one.
  3. Add one line per product. Enter the cost price (required) and how many arrived - as loose pieces, as whole cartons/rolls/packs, or both.
  4. Optionally set a new selling price and attach a photo or PDF of the supplier's receipt.
  5. Enter Amount paid now if you paid the supplier (see below).
  6. Save.

Paid or on credit?

The goods are added to your stock in full either way. In Amount paid now, enter only what you actually handed over today.

  • Pay everything: nothing is owed to the supplier.
  • Pay part: the rest shows as money you owe that supplier.
  • Pay nothing: the full cost shows as owed.

Buying goods is not an expense - the cost reaches your profit when you sell the goods. See *What changes your balance*.

Price safety

If the new cost price is higher than the current selling price, EazyStock asks you to set a selling price that is at least the new cost, so you do not accidentally sell at a loss.

Working offline? Record Supply is available in the Offline POS and is saved until you are back online.
