Mistakes happen. EazyStock lets the business owner fix them without erasing history.
Where to find it
- For a stock entry: Goods Movement, then the correction icon on that entry.
- For a product: open the product and choose the correction option.
Your choices
- Reverse - adds a new opposite entry that cancels the mistake. The original stays visible, marked as reversed.
- Archive (products) - hides a product you no longer sell but keeps all its history.
- Delete - only possible when nothing else depends on it, for example a product that was never used in a sale.
Safety steps
- You must give a reason.
- EazyStock emails you a 6-digit code to confirm it is really you. The code is single-use and expires after a few minutes.
- Stock can never be corrected into a negative number.
What cannot be changed here
- Entries created by a sale - record a Return instead.
- Entries created by a supply record, and entries that have already been reversed.
If an entry cannot be changed, contact support and describe what happened.
