Approvals

How approvals work

What waits for the owner, what applies at once, and what happens if you reject.

Approvals protect your numbers when more than one person uses the business.

What waits for approval

  • Sales, expenses, salaries and extra income recorded by Staff wait for a Manager or Owner. They do not count in your reports or move stock until approved.
  • New or changed products, customers and suppliers recorded by anyone other than the owner wait for the owner. Nothing changes until it is approved.
  • Returns are approved by the owner only.

Goods In and Goods Out by team members

These are recorded straight away so your stock count stays accurate, and are listed for the owner to review. If the owner rejects one, EazyStock reverses it automatically.

Where to review

Open Business > Approvals. Pick items individually, or select several and approve or reject them in one go. Rejecting a sale, extra income or return needs a reason.

Auto-approval

The owner can let low-risk routine entries (such as goods coming in) approve themselves after a chosen time. Anything risky - removing stock, changing prices, deleting, or selling below cost - is never auto-approved.

Once something is approved or rejected it is final. The decision, who made it and when are kept.
