If you buy or sell goods in cartons, rolls or packs, set the product up with a bundle size - for example, 1 carton = 24 pieces.
Setting it up
When you add or edit a product, switch on the bundle section and choose the type (carton, roll, pack, dozen or your own name) and how many pieces it holds. You can also set a carton cost and a carton selling price.
How it behaves
- EazyStock always counts pieces. A carton is only a quick way to enter them.
- Goods In: enter whole cartons, loose pieces, or both - "3 cartons x 24 + 10 pieces = 82 pieces added".
- Selling: choose pieces or the carton unit on a sale line, and you can mix both in one sale.
- Prices and stock warnings use the real piece count.
Safety
Selling a carton below its cost is blocked unless the owner has allowed below-cost sales.
The older "kits" feature, which assembled a product from other products, is no longer part of EazyStock.
